Junior Requirements

We love seeing juniors at our events. They are the riders of the future! If you are thinking of joining as a junior here are some mandatory junior requirements.

1. Complete a Kickstart Course

Complete a Kickstart course run by an MA affiliated club. This is a theory and competency based course which is the first step for all junior riders to obtain a licence. Upon completion an MA log book will be issued. You will need to pass the competency assessment each time you wish to step up to a larger capacity machine.

2. Endorsement

The junior rider must then be endorsed to ride Supermoto or Road race. This can be run by our club at a practise day under a separate permit where a junior coaching official watches the junior on track and makes sure they are competent to ride on the tar. Once completed,  the logbook is signed.

3. MA Licence

An MA 1 day or 1 year recreational  licence is required to participate in an ride event. A race licence is required for a race event. These can be obtained from Ridernet

4. Bike Capacity Increase

Each time the Junior Rider moves up a capacity they need to complete a five hour training course with a certified Junior coaching official.

5. Ride day and Race Requirements

See the ride and race day requirements below to ensure you have your membership, license and you have the correct apparel and your bike is ride/race ready.

Ride & Race Day Requirements

To come along to one of our awesome ride days there are requirements that you have to have in place before attending. You need to be a member of our club and also have a MA licence. Make sure you have all the right gear to wear whilst riding and your bike has the additional requirements. Your bike will be scrutineered at the track before you are allowed to participate. Check out the handy guide and the video tutorial.
